This video preview (provided by Curse) offers a look at what the Barbarian armor sets are going to look like in Diablo 3. The video begins with the starting Barbarian model (i.e., no gear), then progresses slowly through all of the armor sets, finishing with what is likely an Inferno set. In all, there are 17 armor sets previewed.
These sets are accurate only for the Beta, so keep in mind that they could change prior to the live release of Diablo 3.

Blizzard has heard the pleas and is planning to introduce a graveyard for deceased Hard Core characters.
Yesterday in the EU forums, a blue appeared to shed some light on what Blizzard has planned for fallen Hard Core characters in Diablo 3. It seems that the devs are working on some sort of ‘Hall of the Dead’ for Hard Core characters that have met their end. This ‘graveyard’ will provide players with a memoriam for their dead heroes, as well as move them from their ‘active’ character slots.
Good news indeed!
Quote from Vaneras
We have plans to create a Hall of the Dead where your can view your deceased HC characters, and you will probably also be able to view fun and interesting statistics about them.
Dead HC characters will not remain in your main character list, though.
I tried leveling a HC Werewolf Druid in D2, but never made it past level 40. I can’t exactly remember how I died, but that experience soured me on HC. However, given this new mechanic and the years of gaming experience I now have under my belt *wink, flex*, I will definitely be giving HC mode a go in Diablo 3.

The last in Force’s series of “Let’s Play” videos… the Wizard.
I must admit, I’ve never really been much for caster classes, but the D3 Wizard looks awesome so far. After having watched all five videos in the Let’s Play series, the Wizard looks to be the most powerful – at least for the beta. I’m sure there will be other zones and boss encounters that present more of a disadvantage for the Wizard, but as far as the beta content goes… the Wizard takes the beast crown.
In fact, this walk-through went so smoothly that Force did it in two parts, rather than three. I’m sure part of his speedy run-through had to do with his increased familiarity with the content, but still… the Wizard looked be very handily slaying foes left and right, while barely breaking a sweat.
Some notable moments in the first video…
There’s a dreaded server disconnect at 13:45, which shuts down the video run-through for a short while. This is something I really hope becomes a non-issue by the time Diablo 3 goes live. Given that they’ve elected to have the game be playable only through Battle.net, they sure as hell better provide a reliable service or solo players will be up in arms.
At 21:11 there is a really cool random event which shows a small posse of what looks like “chilled” zombies, emerging up through the ground. Read More >

Force just posted another great video — this one showing how quickly a lvl 13 Barbarian can bully his way through the beta. 14 minutes, 38 seconds to be exact. However, Force commented that he may have stopped to smell the roses a bit much, and perhaps could have gotten that number closer to 14 minutes flat.
Force’s Barb is clearly a bit overpowered for the content, but it’s still definitely fun to watch. For players just starting out in the beta, a realistic start to finish time would likely be closer to an hour. An experienced player could probably blaze through the content in under 30 minutes – starting with a level 1 character.
For a bit of comedy, pay close attention to the skeleton at 9:08 who swings wildly and ends up taking out himself and his whole crew.

Another fantastic D3 Beta game play video from Force — this one featuring Diablo 3′s version of the Necromancer… the Witch Doctor.
The Witch Doctor looks like a very interesting class, and will no doubt be a popular choice for fans of the Diablo 2 Necromancer. The Witch Doctor is a summoning class with a good mix of ranged spells, AoE, and various crowd control abilities, similar to the Poison Necro from D2, but probably a lot more effective.
The Witch Doctor spells and abilities are quite creative, with some very entertaining animations. The Zombie Dogs are awesome, and I especially like the Zombie Charger and Corpse Spider abilities, as far as the spell visuals are concerned.
Word on the street is that the Witch Doctor has been very well received in the beta, which comes as no surprise after watching this 3 part video. After seeing the Witch Doctor in action, I’m really eager to see how he does in the PvP arena. His DoT and run style of play looks to lend itself to PvP, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see…
At any rate… enjoy this latest Let’s Play 3-parter from Force! Read More >

The third installment of Force’s “Let’s Play” series features the Monk. As with all of Force’s Diablo3 Beta videos, this one offers both superb video quality and commentary to go with it.
I have to say that after watching this, I am really excited about the Monk class. Blizz did an excellent job animating the Monk’s abilities. Although I’m a die-hard fan of the Barbarian class, the early Monk footage is a little more impressive, in my opinion. He makes ass-kicking look good… really good.
Force does an outstanding job of describing the various Monk abilities, as well as describing the resource system and other mechanics. Read More >

Here’s another look at some Diablo 3 Beta game play footage, courtesy of Force Strategy Gaming. This latest offering from the Let’s Play series of D3 Beta class videos features the Demon Hunter.
Force goes into a bit more detail with this video – really describing and showcasing the various class talents. Some of this information may be irrelevant in future, considering Blizzard has recently announced plans for an overhaul of the Demon Hunter class, but the same could also be said for any of the other classes considering we’re still in beta testing. However, Demon Hunter is the only class so far that’s been announced to undergo some ‘radical’ changes.
Regardless, this video series is excellent, and it provides a basic ‘feel’ for what to expect with the Demon Hunter class in Diablo 3. Read More >
